Job Title : Sr . Dot Net Developer with P&C exp. (Property and casualty) Location: Erie, PA (On-site) Duration: Long Term Interview: Video Client is basically looking for .Net Developer who worked more into Insurance companies who deal with Property, Health and Car. Responsibilities: Following are the day-to-day work activities: Interact with business users to understand the requirements. Provide the technical solution for requirements based on the defined architecture and guidelines. Participate in overall application architecture and solutioning. Estimating work items using know estimation techniques and planning the work. Create/maintain the dev artefacts . Support the release activity. Perform code reviews to maintain a defect free and quality code base. Hands on coding and guiding the dev team in implementing the technical solutions Involve and oversee QA efforts and defining the QA strategy. Take lead in gathering and reporting the daily status to onsite client management. Requirements Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are: Strong understanding of design patterns like Factory, Adapter, etc. Experience in implementing SOLID principles, DDD, Clean architecture. Strong experience in .NET Framework, ASP.Net 4 or above. Web API. Good understanding of VB.NET and C# and working with heterogenous code base. Good understanding of JavaScript frameworks, Bootstrap, JQuery etc. Strong understanding of RDBMS database using SQL Server and SQL programming. Should have a confidence to refactor and modernize the code base. Must have experience in technical design documentation, coding standards and implement those. Understanding of best, performance oriented & maintainable coding practices. Understanding of functional testing using BDD is a plus. Experience in Agile Scrum methodology. Should have good communication skills.
