About the role
Role- Sr. Front End Developer Duration- 6+ Months Location- Downtown Milwaukee (Onsite, hybrid 2-3 days per week) (Prefers Tues, Wed, Thurs in office) Tech Stack: React Java Spring boot AWS Job Description: Designs, develops and tests program units; works on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems; participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements. Prepares and updates documentation as appropriate. Includes proficiency developing, debugging and optimizing web applications. Experience with page speed testing and optimization techniques. Familiar with web standards, best practices and current trends. Key skills: JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, Backbone, JQuery, Node.js, JSUnit, AJAX, REST, SOAP, etc. 3 years minimum experience required ( 5-7 years recommended) Please provide a description of how this role fits into the organization and your team This role will work closely with front-end team to accelerate our modernization effort, migrate legacy application and redesign field onboarding experience. Responsibilities: You engage with our business partners to understand workflows needs and transform those requirements into an implemented automated business process Analyze, design, and develop react micro frontend applications for the enterprise Design, build & maintain BPMN workflows, BPMN tasks, events, gateway, container, work with workflow APIs Integrate with other internal applications using native integration components and custom plug-ins Participate in team meetings and user meetings to support various program tasks including design review, technical roadmap, production management etc. Provide technical leadership and coach and mentor lower-level developers while ensuring that all testing and review activity is properly carried out Make platform recommendations and design technical solutions to help achieve our strategic objectives. Support QA testing efforts and assist colleagues in troubleshooting production problems Contribute towards developing solution guidelines, standards, and best practices What are the must haves for this role? 6 to 8 years professional development experience in modern web applications using JavaScript frameworks (React, RESTful API) Experience writing Spring based Java applications in containerized environments using Docker Experience with REST / SOAP services and clients. Experience developing cloud-based applications and micro-services. Experience with Git for source code management. AWS experience with platform services Advocate of test-driven development, with experience using unit testing frameworks and automation tools What are the nice to haves for this role? Familiarity with DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Ansible/Terraform) Experience with BPM or Workflow-based system such as Flowable is plus.
