Sr. Full-Stack Developer

Role: Sr. Full-Stack Developer Duration: 6 months with possible extension Location: 100% Remote / Santa Clara, CA Description: We are searching for an innovative Senior Engineer to join the IT Customer Experience Team. As an Engineer, you will engage with multiple engineering teams (application / InfoSec / SRE), but focused on the Licensing system which is the backbone for New product introductions. This will require you to engage heavily with various product functions (Engineering, SRE, QA) as well as IT teams such as infrastructure, SAP and Steel bricks. Given that our company is the leader in cyber security, this is a fast-paced environment and requires a wide array of skills. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong desire to find the balance between stability, features and time to market. Drive all decisions with data and be able to articulate outcomes at multiple levels in the organization (from execs to associate engineers). Responsibilities: • Identify business requirements by establishing personal rapport with actual, potential and internal clients • Design, develop, test, and document scalable, high-quality business applications • Recommend alternate approaches, analyze impacts, and provide sizing estimates • Participate in design sessions and code reviews • Work with business requirement stakeholders to design, develop and refine the workflows of an application • Confirms program operation by conducting unit, system and integration tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes as necessary • Prepare project related documentation, GAP analysis, functional specifications, design specifications, and complete development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms during different stages of a project. Required Technical Skills: Hands on backend development experience using core java, java 8/11(lambda’s, streams) and RESTful web services 5+ years’ expertise in developing web-based java application with Spring Boot and Spring Security Strong Back end: Java, RESTful API’s calls, System Design Microservices - Experience writing new microservices, migrating existing is plus DB: • Relational - At least one of the following • MySQL(must) /MSSQL/PostgreSQL/MSSQL/ RDS • NoSQL - At least one of the following: • MongoDB / Fire Store / Redshift/GCP Spanner Experience with TDD (Test driven development) Platforms: • At least one of the following - GCP (preferred) / AWS / Azure. • Strong knowledge of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Nice to have Full stack system architecture (API / Web / DB / Distributed systems) Client Side: JavaScript (Angular/React) Experience with caching (Redis/Memcached) is a plus Experience with CI/CD Pipeline Experience with PKI/Certificate Authentication Be completely at ease implementing and designing systems at e-commerce scale Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables in a fast-paced environment Learn and adapt to new programming languages and technologies on an as-needed basis Communicate project status and needs to the team and project lead to minimize any impact of change Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related degree Thanks & Regards, Gousia Syed - Technical IT Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
