About the role
Position: Senior Java Developer Location: Hybrid in Orlando, FL Duration: 12-18 Months contract Requirements: -7 years of experience with PL/SQL, Java, Spring, JSON experience -AWS -Has worked for a Supply Chain company or projects (if has experience with Supply Chain suites - Oracle retail or Symphony – would be HUGE plus) -Experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web applications, and interfaces between Supply Chain ERP systems. Contract Description: Working in Oracle retail. Writer interfaces in Java and Spring, run on AWS, take in and moved data daily. Focusing on custom software, customer interfaces, will update UIs, extend or enhance, sustainment of pre-existing software that is already there. Update and Maintenance. Webservices with JSON files. Duties: 1. Is responsible for the design and development of software fixes, improvements, and/or new software systems and applications. 2. For assigned work drives development of components through their work and that of the team on projects, major fixes using new or existing technologies 3. Develops technical solutions that meet specifications and provide positive impact on future developments. 4. Designs and develops specifications for assigned components, projects or fixes. 5. Reviews and writes code that meets quality gates. 6. Writes and performs unit and functional tests. 7. Owns programming, testing and debugging of applications or fixes to existing applications. 8. Creates protocols, documentation and tools for installation and maintenance.
