Job Description - Senior Salesforce Developer

• Serve as a trusted collaborator to our product and business stakeholders and work closely with them to design, define, and execute technology solutions on the Salesforce platform to solve business requirements and problems. • Ability to design Salesforce solutions, as well as lead development and implementation of designed solutions on Salesforce platform in accordance with industry best practices. • Mastery at intaking and deciphering complex business requirements and translating them into technical terms and specs for development team • Adept at performing business analysis and problem solving and has ability to think through problems creatively • Take end to end ownership and oversight of solution development: from requirements gathering and solution design, to development and implementation of proposed solution on Salesforce. • Have thorough understanding of optimized design patterns for Salesforce platform • Proven ability to integrate disparate systems with Salesforce • Ensure Salesforce best practices are followed during development of Salesforce solutions. • Ability to be hands on with coding on Salesforce platform. • Lead and mentor other technical resources (i.e. Salesforce developers) on the development team

Job Specific Skills:

• 6+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development and configuration capacity- HAS TO HAVE LEAD EXPERIENCE!! • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, and/or a related field • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices • Expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Financial Services- MUST HAVE • Salesforce certifications • Understand Salesforce platform limitations and ability to creatively design workaround solutions to overcome limitations • Knowledge and familiarity of Salesforce tech stack: APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, Lightning, Developer Console, Salesforce IDE (VS Code) and etc.- WOULD LIKE TO HAVE LIGHTNING ON THEIR RESUME SINCE THEY WILL BE MIGRATING FROM CLASSIC TO LIGHTNING THIS YEAR • Strong communication and written skills
