This opportunity is a 6 month contract with likely long term potential. Company & Group Details of Site Reliability Engineer: •The Site Reliability Engineer will work as part of a highly interactive, cross functional team that is responsible for design, analysis, development, and troubleshooting large scale production systems and services spanning on-premises and cloud based hosting. Responsibilities of Site Reliability Engineer: • Maintain site reliability, uptime, security, capacity, and performance analysis • Create and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding solutions that provide visibility into performance and operational workload • Respond to incident tickets and lead triage efforts • Partner with cross functional teams to improve the quality and availability of services Requirements for Site Reliability Engineer: • Linux admin, build, management experience • Coding ability in Python, Java, C#, and/or Go • Experience troubleshooting variety of technologies such as load balancers, DB servers, web/app servers, memory, storage, network etc. • Expertise with infrastructure automation technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc. • Extensive experience with continuous deployment based SDLC’s • Knowledge of common middleware and infrastructure monitoring systems
