SR Software Engineer

Role: SR Software Engineer Location: 100% remote working EST Duration: 12 Months Interview Process: 1-hour long panel interview/situational MUST TAKE IKM SCREENING BY APEX Project Details/selling points: - The COMO product team develops near real-time machine learning applications that monitor AWS cloud activity performed by Capital One engineering teams. The main use cases for our monitoring tools include supporting the application change management operational controls, supporting regulatory controls, and also providing real time data to our technology operations command center so that they can quickly do root cause analysis of technology incidents. - Team Size: three software engineers, one data engineer, two data scientists, and a data analyst and working to expand team into 2022. - Team Accolades: Our team was awarded TechXcellence by Capital One Technology in 2018. We received a patent for our cloud monitoring tool, and have two additional patent applications in the pipeline. - Working on new project that is enterprise wide that is a new monitoring tool to help drive the engineering and Capital One more towards automated deployments and moving away from manual process.
