About the role
Job Title: Storage Engineer Location: Remote TOP REQUIREMENTS: ESX/vsphere knowledge NSX and network knowledge Storage knowledge *** What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Multiple years of experience in an Engineering or Architecture level position. • Develop and release new features and functionality in to ODI product family based on customer demand and feedback. • Conduct research and development activities to incubate innovation ideas and demonstrate the business value of ideas. • Following a product delivery model with iterative releases, deliver completed functionality into production ensuring operational stability. • Partner with the ODI Product owner to present the technical product roadmap to peer teams and business leaders. • Follow vendor roadmaps and product releases to ensure that vendor functionality keeps up with our functionality needs. Ensure that ODI technical roadmap is in alignment with vendor roadmaps. • Conduct technical Proof of Concept reviews and create wireframe mockups of new concepts as they are being evaluated for further development. • Product Delivery model will require the creation of artifacts at milestones throughout the delivery lifecycle. Engineers will be required to create some or all of the following depending on the project: engineering design documents and diagrams, data flow diagrams, security diagrams, pseudocode, and support documentation.
