Sr. System Monitoring Engineer 100% Remote 6months Job Description: Enterprise System Discovery Engineer This role will be focused on supporting systems management platforms that are used for discovery, event management, monitoring and instrumentation across all compute platforms. This role will be focused primary on supporting our discovery tool that provides a discovery of assets and their application dependencies. There will be a secondary responsibility to assist with implementation of system monitoring for applications across the enterprise. We are seeking a full-time contractor to augment the team for one year with a specific scope of work that includes:

• Primary role will be maintaining and supporting the company's system/application discovery tool - IBM Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM)
• Identify and remediate inventory discrepancies between TADDM and CMDB by closely coordinating with Infrastructure platform and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot TADDM discovery issues and work with the Remedy/CMDB team as necessary to resolve data quality issues.
• Secondary responsibilities will be to assist application teams with the implementation of system monitoring add, modify, delete or suppression across BMC Truesight Operations Management (TSOM) and Sitescope.
• Monthly patching of monitoring systems and post-patching checkout.
