As a Sr Systems Engineering focused on Collaboration Tools, you’ll have the opportunity to: • Provide the world's best collaboration tool experience through customized Jira and Confluence Data Center instances • Lead regular upgrades of Jira and Confluence • Solve unique technical challenges with one of the largest scale instances of Atlassian tools • Research and implement security vulnerability protections, working with Information Security teams • Design integrations between Jira, Confluence, other 3rd party tools and custom applications through API or other solutions

Skillsets required: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering with >8 years of experience • Usage of Jira and Confluence • Management of web application(s) from a system build or operational support perspective • Cloud concepts: Infrastructure as code, Azure, Openstack, or other cloud hosting and deployment solutions • Understanding of database (Oracle, MS SQL), network, firewall, block storage mount concepts - ability to direct and work with those areas for end to end app solution • Ability to manage systems projects end to end, set own schedule and track, build and implement repeatable test plans • HA/DR design and implementation • Coordinate activities with Infrastructure and Platform Teams for environment setup, configuration, and maintenance • Manage and lead others within team as well as cross-functional resources • Infrastructure design for and concepts for web applications • Ability to work closely with Jira and Confluence Product owners and other systems engineers on the team • Participate in an on-call rotation, triaging application incidents and customer escalations • Application monitoring and troubleshooting of Java applications • Experience with monitoring tools to monitor application performance • Systems engineering background and Linux administration with an emphasis on DevOps practices

Preferred skills:

• Jira or Confluence administration • Maintenance, Operational troubleshooting and tuning for Jira or Confluence health (system and application level) • Automated performance testing • Experience with monitoring tools for systems, infrastructure and applications • Scripting (shell, groovy, or other scripting languages) • Understanding of Active Directory concepts • Vulnerability remediation • Experience with SQL • Ability to influence and follow up on requests for cross-functional teams
