About the role
Role:Tableau Developer/BI Developer
Location: Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days onsite in Long Island or Plano, TX) Duration:6-12 month contract
Must have: Tableau, SQL, ability to work in team 5+ years using tableau beginner to intermediate with SQL DB able to commute or relo to Long Island or Plano, TX if not local!
Requirements
5+ years of direct Tableau experience with an understanding of advanced features such as LOD expressions An understanding of layout design along with design principles necessary to tell a story visually 2+ years of experience using Alteryx data integration tool Competencies with RDBMS such as Google BQ Competencies in database architectures such as relative, star and snowflake schemas Ability to thoroughly research subjects to support reporting application project work Strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize, analyze, and improve existing queries Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, including mapping of business need or issue to development of application requirements or procedural initiatives Strong understanding of reporting and database environments, processes, and associated applications Proven ability to ensure effective forms of documentation essential for support of overall technical and user needs Positive attitude with ability to do multi tasks and work in fast pace environment Highly detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive or confidential matte
