About the role
Role: Technical Consultant
Location: CA-SACRAMENTO-9300 TECH CENTER DR FL 2-95826 (REMOTE - PST) Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills : • 5 years’ experience with front-end data warehouse or similar processing which includes extracting data for large files from various sources, cleansing data, and preparing the data for loading into a data warehouse. • 5 years’ experience as an analyst-programmer performing various system development life cycle functions including; project planning, requirements analysis, program specifications, coding, testing, and implementation. • Develop and maintain the data feed process from various data sources and transmit data in preparation for loading into the MIS/DSS data warehouse • Analyze DHCS warehouse requirements and research existing claim and eligible processes to develop the data feed process • Utilize statistical tools such as SAS EG to create reports and trends from the MIS/DSS and support user requests
Job Description : Data Feed Specialist (SAS Developer) Develop and maintain the data feed process from various data sources and transmit data in preparation for loading into the MIS/DSS data warehouse Analyze DHCS warehouse requirements and research existing claim and eligible processes to develop the data feed process Utilize statistical tools such as SAS EG to create reports and trends from the MIS/DSS and support user requests 2 years’ experience working with Business Objects. 5 years-experience working in a mainframe environment (5) years-experience working in a mainframe environment (with working knowledge of COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL and TSO) Intermediate level experience with developing program specifications, pseudo code, or logic diagrams –
Team Structure: Data Feeds Team will have 6 Data Feeds Specialists and 1 Data Feeds Specialist Lead. They all report to the client directly.
