JOB DESCRIPTION Join the Contingent Snowforce Team and be part of shaping the future of data while on assignment with Snowflake!! This role presents an exciting opportunity to support Snowflake as a Temporary Worker as they continue to scale and accelerate their growth. You'll get the opportunity to apply your expertise as a Temporary Worker. You'll be an essential contributor to our team, working in an environment that values innovation and fosters meaningful contributions from all collaborators. As a member of the Cloud Control Plane team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining (and raising) the state of automation across our cloud environments. We are looking for experienced Terraform infrastructure engineers with experience building and maintaining automation across different cloud providers in production critical environments.
AS A CONTRACT "Senior Engineer - Cloud Control Plane - Terraform" AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL: • Maintain and update Terraform providers used to support Snowflake infrastructure across multiple cloud environments. • Refactor infrastructure as code written in Terraform to make it more performant, secure and idiomatic. • Plan and execute safety rollout of infrastructure as code to production critical infrastructure.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: • 5+ years experience managing infrastructure on public cloud infrastructure using Terraform. • 5+ years of experience operating in production environments following best practices around infrastructure as code and high levels of automation. • 5+ years of experience working with multiple cloud providers including AWS, Azure or GCP. • Experience managing large Terraform workspaces, including but not limited to safely update of critical providers and state management and refactor of production Terraform code. • Fluency in one or more programming or scripting languages.
