Role: Cloud Platform Build Engineer Location: Remote Duration:1yr contract to start Vendor/Client: Apex/3M INTERVIEWS TOMMOROW Cloud experience - If only have one, needs to be AWS – 80% AWS / 20% Azure Candidates should have prior network engineering experience (Load balancing, Cisco) Required skills: • AWS • Network components outlined below • 3M is seeking a Cloud Platform Build Engineer to join the 3M Platform Engineering team to develop and implement scalable, production grade, cloud infrastructure. • In this role, you will leverage your experience with all components of the AWS and Azure infrastructure stack including: • -Account & subscription management (AWS Control Tower and Azure Management Groups) • -Network (TGW, VPC, VNet, Express Route, Direct Connect, Load Balancing) • -IAM (RBAC and Role assignments) • -Compute (ec2 and VM) • -Storage (s3, nfs, storage accounts) • -Secrets & Certificates (secrets manager & key vault) • The cloud landing zones that you deploy will provide hosting environments for many types of applications, including modern cloud native and traditional 3 tier style applications. Automated deployment and testing through IaC methodology will be preferred and required in almost all situations. • You will work as part of an agile team that will enable applications to run in a secure and robust environment to support business timelines. -- Thanks & Regards, K.
