About the role
Role: VMware VRO/VRA Engineer Vendor/Client: Apex/ Charter Communications - Charlotte Location: Charlotte, NC(3 Days onsite 2 Days Remote- you can choose which days you go onsite) Duration: 6months Required Skills : • VMWARE Automation- VR Automation or VR Orchestrator • -Java is preferred (Python or PowerShell would be 2nd choice) • -Bitbucket • -Application Integration Requirements: • Must have few to several years of extensive hands on experience in developing VMware vRealize Orchestration (vRO) workflows, should be able demonstrate on VMware HOL Labs. • Must have worked on vRA features including but not limited to Blueprints, XaaS, Event broker subscriptions, Storage Profiles, Network Profiles, custom properties, Actions etc • Must know the difference between vRA 7.5 and vRA 8.X versions, experience on vRA vRO 8.X is preferred. • Strong scripting/programming in JavaScript • Proven experience in Cloud Automation using vRA and vRO workflows • Strong System wide knowledge of vRealize Automation preferably in 8.x, vRA 7.X is OK too. • Able to work on vRA 8.X Cloud Templates, update Ansible scripts in vRA Cloud templates, create ABX customizations, trigger vRO workflows. • Experience with REST API based application integration with vRO • Expertise in vRA vRO 7.5 to create, update and mange Blueprints, XaaS, complex EBS workflows, component profiles, reservations, compute clusters.
