Create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Writing efficient code • Creating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices • Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website • Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe • Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation • Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down • Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built • The above reflects leadership’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Technology related field or equivalent experience • 10+ years’ experience in web development • Desire to stay current with emerging web technologies • Strong knowledge of .NET Core • Proficient in C# (ASP.NET), and JavaScript, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems • Coordinate with other software professionals and developers • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL • Familiarity and Knowledge of architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC) • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools: Azure DevOps • 2+ years of experience developing in Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and AWS • Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization • HTML/XHTML, CSS • Server architecture knowledge • Experience working with Server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP • Working knowledge of database systems such as SQL and Oracle • Experience working with Sharepoint preferred • Experience using a CMS such as WordPress preferred but not required • Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals • Strong communication skills WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Business casual in an office environment • Ability to respond as needed to after-business hours issues.
