Project Scope / Business Need: Team is supporting/maintaining a provider portal; authorizations, reports, lets providers access UHG/optums’s patient system

Duties: Build ground up components in typescript, implement across

Ideal Years of Experience: 3-5 Mid-level. Won’t be making any design decisions within codebase, will be executing code

Top Requirements:

· Angular – v9, will take anyone from 2+, but the more recent the better. Will interact with some legacy pages in vanilla js/jquery

· Typescript – building customized components from the ground up in typescript, won’t touch the pre-built libraries in angular.

· CSS – Sass will push codebase through azure devops/TFS as well.

· API – understanding how rest API’s call, will use postman to help pull data payload to understand how to build web pages around it

Nice to Have:

· C#/.net - super nice to have, back end is webservice based

Optum projects maintained by the UHC NV IS Web Team, with focus on presentation / UI project enhancements and maintenance.

15 Developers, 1 QA. Will work with various team members depending on each project or task assigned.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) 1. Strong knowledge of Angular framework. Ability to build web pages in Angular from scratch.

1. Become familiar with existing web applications, including the presentation layer and supporting Web API services.

2. Able to build and maintain Web APIs (C# - .NetFramework and .NetCore).

3. Understanding and application of web UI design best practices, UI standards, etc.

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
