About the role
Role: Y-14Q Data/Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte OR Dallas Duration: 12+ months Rate: $60/hr on w2 Visa: W2 role
TOP Requirements Capturing and documenting requirements – need Y-14Q regulatory reporting experience!!!!! Data analysis w/ ADVANCED excel skills (pivot tables, etc). Intermediate SQL. Need to be able to look at the code, understand a query, and unpack it. Mapping documents, know field columns and table. Direct Comm Bank experience (homerun if with wells or boa previously!). They need to know the lingo and process — can’t slow down to teach them this. Need someone with the BA/business facing and soft skills too – do NOT need someone too on the technical/development side
Background: Data quality, quality assurance, or ops & analytics Commercial banking is a must. Someone who has worked in loan ops/servicing could step into this testing role, but need to have data analyst experience as well. Could come from legal, regulatory, testing, or operational knowledge perspective of the business. Have experienced legal agreement. They need to be able to digest legalese and be detail oriented. Need to interpret language and understand business terms and concepts.
About the team
Regulatory reporting data quality. Covers Data Quality in credit agreements and onboarding. They conduct accuracy checks in customer documents.
The project: Working with regulatory reports (Y-14Q H1 (primary), 2052A & BASAML activities (less common, but nice to have).
Job Description: Looking for business minded data folks who have remediation experience to write requirements for testing, building documentation. Need to understand the core process (testing) document requirements. Need to create what they would call “test scripts” to do testing activity. More adept at credit agreements and legal language. This is not a system testing role, does not need coders. Need someone who can look at the report, SQL Queries (need to be able to understand what it is and how its built, how to take data from one place and pusged out), general understanding of coding.
