Freelance Azure Landing Zone Architect / Lead Engineer

You are an experienced Azure Landing Zone Architect / Lead Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing an enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zone aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones following Microsoft CAF best practices - Leading customer workshops covering governance, networking, security, identity, automation, disaster recovery, and cost management - Creating High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents - Designing and deploying Azure Management Group hierarchies and subscription structures - Implementing Azure governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, PIM, and Conditional Access - Designing and deploying Hub-and-Spoke network architecture - Configuring Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, NSGs, UDRs, and Private DNS Zones - Implementing centralized monitoring using Log Analytics and Microsoft Sentinel - Configuring Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure Key Vault - Deploying infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions - Conducting validation testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions Mandatory Skills: - Azure Landing Zone (ALZ) - Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) - Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) - Azure Management Groups & Subscriptions - Azure Policy & Governance - Azure Networking (Hub-Spoke Architecture) - Azure Firewall - Site-to-Site VPN - Azure Enterprise ID (Azure AD) - RBAC & Privileged Identity Management (PIM) - Conditional Access - Azure Key Vault - Log Analytics Workspace - Microsoft Defender for Cloud - Microsoft Sentinel - Azure Backup & Recovery Services - Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions Preferred Skills: - Enterprise Azure Migration Projects - Azure Security Center - Azure Cost Management - Azure Monitor - Azure Virtual WAN - Landing Zone Automation Frameworks - Azure Architecture Certification Experience Required: - Azure Cloud Experience - Multiple Azure Landing Zone implementations - Strong Terraform development experience - Experience working directly with enterprise customers - Strong documentation and workshop facilitation skills You are an experienced Azure Landing Zone Architect / Lead Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing an enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zone aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
