Senior Network Automation Engineer

You are an experienced Senior Network Automation Engineer who will be supporting large-scale Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. Your expertise in network engineering, automation, routing protocols, and Python development will be crucial in managing enterprise or cloud-scale network infrastructure. - Support the design, deployment, and operations of large-scale network infrastructure within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Participate in network lifecycle management, including network build, upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects - Develop and execute network change procedures and operational runbooks - Lead network automation initiatives and create scripts/tools to automate routine operational tasks - Troubleshoot network incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive issue resolution - Act as an escalation point for critical network events and production support activities - Collaborate with project managers, architects, automation teams, and vendors to deliver network solutions - Support firmware upgrades, software qualification, bug investigations, and vendor escalations - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to network architecture and roadmap planning Required Skills: - Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or large-scale cloud networking environments - Deep understanding of network protocols including: - BGP - OSPF - TCP/IP - Routing & Switching - Hands-on experience with: - Network Automation - Python Scripting - Network Monitoring & Telemetry - Network Performance Optimization - Network Lifecycle Management - Experience working with enterprise-grade network devices and cloud networking platforms - Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills - Experience interacting with network vendors and supporting software/firmware upgrades - Ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across global teams Preferred Skills: - Experience supporting hyperscale or cloud infrastructure environments - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Experience with Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, Git, CI/CD pipelines - Experience with network observability and telemetry platforms - Experience developing network automation frameworks You are an experienced Senior Network Automation Engineer who will be supporting large-scale Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
