BI Analyst

As a BI & Analytics Lead, your role will be to build and lead the BI Engineering team in Chennai for the global Data & AI organization. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Data Products are effectively consumed by the business through standardized dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions. You will focus on turning prepared Data Products into intuitive, reliable, and business-relevant analytics experiences. Your expertise in BI platforms, dashboard design, data visualization, and analytics enablement will be key to defining standards, processes, roles, and best practices for the design, development, operation, and consumption of BI solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Own the global BI & Analytics capability and define how trusted Data Products are consumed through dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics. - Shape the future BI architecture for analytics consumption, including requirements for platforms like Qlik Sense, Qlik Cloud, Power BI, or similar. - Define global standards for dashboard design, data visualization, usability, documentation, performance, and lifecycle management. - Establish governance principles for BI applications, including roles, permissions, ownership, support responsibilities, and domain-oriented app structures. - Drive the modernization of the BI landscape to create a governed, scalable environment and reduce fragmented app growth. - Provide a shared service for the design, development, operation, and support of standardized dashboards and reporting solutions. - Build BI solutions based on approved Data Products and requirements from Data & AI Product Management. - Translate BI requirements into clear delivery tasks with scope, priorities, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and handover requirements. - Ensure delivered dashboards are business-relevant, user-friendly, reliable, performant, and aligned with defined BI standards. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in BI, analytics, data visualization, reporting, or related fields, with proven leadership experience in international teams. - Proven leadership experience in building, leading, and developing BI, analytics, or data teams, including functional and disciplinary leadership. - Deep understanding of modern BI and analytics platforms; experience with Qlik Sense is advantageous, while experience with Qlik Cloud, Power BI, or similar platforms is beneficial.
