Cyber Threat Analyst (Telangana)

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Threat Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and interpret cyber threat intelligence to protect our organization from evolving cyber risks. You will work closely with security operations, incident response, and risk management teams to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor global cyber threat landscapes and gather intelligence from multiple sources, including open source, commercial feeds, and internal security tools. - Analyze and contextualize cyber threat data to identify emerging risks relevant to the organization. - Produce actionable threat intelligence reports and briefings for technical teams and executive leadership. - Collaborate with SOC, incident response, and vulnerability management teams to incorporate threat intelligence into security operations. - Develop and maintain threat actor profiles, TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures), and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). - Support proactive threat hunting efforts using intelligence-driven methodologies. - Participate in incident investigations to provide intelligence context and support root cause analysis. - Maintain threat intelligence platforms and ensure data accuracy and relevance. - Stay current on cybercrime trends, malware developments, and attacker methodologies. - Advise on security controls and policies to reduce risk exposure based on threat intelligence insights. Preferred Skills: - Certifications such as GCTI (GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence), CISSP, CEH, or equivalent. - Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for data analysis and automation. - Understanding of geopolitical influences on cyber threats. - Familiarity with cloud security and threat intelligence in cloud environments. - Experience in incident response or SOC environments.
