Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer at our company, your role will involve building end-to-end product features with a strong emphasis on user experience, scalability, and business impact. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality product features. Here are the key responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining product features across frontend and backend - Collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions - Building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications - Owning features end-to-end from design to production deployment - Improving user experience through performance optimization and UI/UX enhancements - Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code - Debugging production issues and continuously improving system reliability - Integrating APIs, third-party services, and internal systems - Participating in product planning, roadmap discussions, and technical design reviews - Contributing to engineering best practices and code quality standards In terms of qualifications, we require the following skills: Core Engineering: - Strong proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go - Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms - Experience with system design fundamentals Full Stack Development: - Experience with frontend frameworks like React.js, Next.js, Angular - Experience with backend frameworks like Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI - Understanding of RESTful API design and integration Databases & Infrastructure: - Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL - Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis - Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure Tools & Practices: - Proficiency in Git and version control - Experience with CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of unit and integration testing - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Preferred Qualifications include: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - 1+ years of software engineering experience - Experience building user-facing products at scale - Strong understanding of product metrics and user behavior - Experience working in cross-functional product teams Additionally, it would be nice to have the following skills: - Experience with Next.js or SSR frameworks - Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation platforms - Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus - Experience with microservices and distributed systems - Exposure to startup environments or fast-paced product teams Soft skills that are important for this role include: - Strong product thinking and user empathy - Ownership mindset with end-to-end responsibility - Good communication and collaboration skills - Problem-solving and analytical thinking - Ability to balance technical and business priorities As a Product Engineer at our company, your role will involve building end-to-end product features with a strong emphasis on user experience, scalability, and business impact.
