As a Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated). - Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. - Collaborating with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc. - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Providing clear, concise reports on testing progress and product quality. - Ensuring compliance with QA processes and best practices. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 25 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering. - Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies. - Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI. - Familiarity with API and database testing. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Positive communication and teamwork skills. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) qualifications: - Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner. - Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments like AWS, Azure, GCP. - ISTQB or other QA certifications. - Experience with mobile testing on Android/iOS platforms.
