Tableau - Senior Data Engineer(Pharma) (Telangana)

Role & responsibilities Curious about the role What your typical day would look like As a Data Engineer, you will work to enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions; Seamlessly switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and data science engineer as demanded by each project to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. On a typical day, you might - Engage with clients to understand their business context - Translate business needs to technical specifications. - Discuss the design of the BI solutions that can be built & deployed to solve the complex problem. - Leverage Power BI to maintain & support data analytics platforms. - Involve yourself in unit testing and troubleshooting. - Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses. - Create visualizations and build reports that exceed the expectations of the clients. - Work on enhancing the BI systems that exist. - Develop or ensure that the tech documentation developed is updated. - Involve in BI performance tuning & consumption patterns as you better understand BI SLAs. - Ideate with your peers to design ground-breaking BI solutions. - Interact and collaborate with multiple teams (Data Science, Consulting & Engineering) and various stakeholders to meet deadlines, to bring Analytical Solutions to life. Preferred candidate profile Tableau Senior Data Engineer (Pharma Domain), - Solid experience in Pharma Domain delivering comprehensive BI solutions (Tableau, Power BI, & Qlik). - Real-time experience working in OLAP & OLTP database models (Dimensional models). - Comprehensive knowledge of SQL & modern DM environments (Synapse, Snowflake & Redshift) - Adept understanding of any of the cloud services is preferred (Azure, AWS & GCP) - Hands-on experience in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts - Get excited to work in agile methodologies and have profound knowledge of the software development lifecycle - ETL technology exposure & experience in a scripting language would be value addition. - Enthuse to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization and take complete ownership of deliverables. - Real-time exposure in security implementation in BI - Excellent understanding of tableau architecture, Tableau services/Process. - Knowledge on Rest Api capabilities, embedded analytics, capacity planning, Gen AI, Content Metadata. .
