QA Automation Lead

Position: QA Engineer Department: Software Development Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 6–10+ Years About the Role: We're looking for a QA Automation Lead who believes quality is everyone's responsibility and is passionate about building reliable, scalable software. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with Product, Development, and QA teams to understand business requirements, build a robust automation strategy, and ensure every feature is validated through automated testing before it reaches production. What you'll be doing: Lead and mentor the QA Automation team. Understand product functionality and translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios. Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks. Automate UI, API, and end-to-end business workflows. Build and maintain a reliable regression test suite that runs automatically as part of the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with developers to identify quality risks early and improve overall product quality. Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and release confidence. What we're looking for: 6–10+ years of experience in Software Testing. 4+ years of hands-on automation testing experience. 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring QA teams. Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress (Playwright preferred). Experience with API automation and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. Good understanding of SQL and modern software development practices. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
