The Network Engineer L2 will be responsible for the continuity and stability of the IT services that TMF IT delivers to its internal customers Key Responsibilities IT support for Network and related Infrastructure Vendor Management for external support parties Participate in short term Projects delivery for internal/external stakeholders Works under direct guidance and supervision of Operations Lead/Manager for day to day support Works in coordination with the Architectural/Engineering Leads for BAU support/IT projects, Infra. Refresh/Upgrades Align with TMF IT/Network Vision and objectives as laid out by the SLT/Global Network Head Available and willing to work in shifts across the time zones in support of Global Service Model Available and willing for participating in On-call Support beyond normal business/work hours to support Global support model of operations Reports to Network Operations Lead/Manager Depending on the location of the appointment, must be willing to travel/visit local office/Data Centre as necessary to extend physical Hands and Eyes support to remote technology teams for local IT infrastructure troubleshooting or MACD requests Key Requirements Implement, manage and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, Should have fair knowledge on SDWAN/LAN/WiFi (Cisco Meraki preferred), AWS, Azure etc. Should have good concepts on IDS/IPS, centralized logging, NAC solution, reverse proxy, DNS, DHCP, IPAM Fair knowledge of Checkpoint/Barracuda/Fortinet Firewalls, NLBs including F5; VPN including SSL, GRE and IPSec; Proxy services - like Websense/Forcepoint/Zscaler etc. will be treated as a plus point Monitor and measure performance through regular reporting and summaries of the systems including availability, usage and capacity; Conduct regular capacity monitoring activities and document the data to project baselines and forecasts Participate in Project executions, and be able to create functional documents as directed by leads Conduct Audits for InfoSec compliance under the guidance of senior members Support Local/Regional/Global IT network requirements and coordinate with Technical and Business Operations on issue resolution and support Proactively monitor the ticketing queue and work to solve the tickets (self-assigned/assigned by leads) Schedule and perform network improvements, upgrades, repairs, redesign, MACD activities Mentor junior team members, and act as an escalation point for them Join and lead the troubleshooting calls in case of Network unavailability, Service Degradation, or any Infrastructure related issues Work closely/collaborate with Network Engineering Leads and Architects on all technical requirements, in alignment with the Operations Leads at all times Maintain the documentation up to date as per directives from leads Participate in product evaluation/PoC activities as required Participate in Vendor engagements for Problem Management, RCA, SLA compliance, Risks and Issues Key knowledge and experience Understands TMF Groups business lines, regulatory requirements and organization structure Understands and applies control and risk and governance frameworks consistently Ability to execute or delegate activities and tasks to support staff with clear explanation.
