About the role
Discover the Role The Senior Automation Developer plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and long term performance of TMF s business critical automations. The focus of this role is on production support, incident resolution, root cause investigation, and permanent remediation for automation solutions primarily built on the Microsoft Power Platform. Although the position centers on BAU and maintenance activities, the role requires strong development level expertise in automation design, workflow logic, testing, and deployment. You will work across the full automation lifecycle, monitoring live processes, optimizing performance, ensuring governance, and contributing to small enhancements or new builds when required. This role collaborates closely with Process Analysts, Business stakeholders, and cross functional teams to support continuous improvement and maintain high operational standards. Key Responsibilities Automation Support Engineering Support and maintain automations built using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Automate Desktop (RPA). Troubleshoot workflow logic, integrations, and data handling issues to ensure smooth automation execution. Support .NET based business automation processes. Apply workflow based logic to understand system behavior and implement fixes, optimizations, or enhancements. Assist with occasional development of small automations or incremental improvements. BAU Operations Production Support Handle automation incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring minimal business impact. Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent solutions to reduce BAU workload. Monitor automation processes proactively to improve reliability and reduce failures. Support during and immediately after go live deployments, ensuring stable process execution. Manage migration of automation packages across DEV / TEST / PROD environments. Quality, Documentation Standards Maintain solution design documents, release notes, SOPs, runbooks, and user guides. Ensure comprehensive test coverage by maintaining and updating unit test cases. Uphold data integrity and follow data security and governance standards. Identify opportunities for improvement and carry out enhancements to increase efficiency and stability. Stakeholder Engagement Collaboration Collaborate with Process Analysts and Business Analysts to review process documentation and support improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across regions and cultures. Provide knowledge sharing and guidance to strengthen team capabilities when needed. Key Requirements Qualifications Technical Skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Technology, IT, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of hands on experience with Power Automate and Power Apps in enterprise environments. Strong background in BAU / production support, incident resolution, and permanent remediation for automation solutions. Expertise with: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop) .NET development for automation support MS SQL Server or similar relational databases Strong understanding of workflow logic, process analysis, and automation lifecycle. Experience assessing feasibility, effort, and impact of automation changes. Knowledge of automation environments and deployments (DEV / UAT / PROD). Additional technical exposure: Python scripting (preferred) Alteryx (support/troubleshooting/small enhancements) OCR/IDP tools REST APIs, JSON, XML Automation standards and best practices Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a structured approach. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, organized, and adaptable under pressure. Ability to work in a dynamic, global, cross functional environment.
