About the role
In the Data team at Bloomberg, you are responsible for acquiring and providing data to clients for the iconic Bloomberg Terminal. Your role involves collecting, analyzing, processing, and publishing data that drives financial markets. You apply problem-solving skills to identify workflow efficiencies and implement technology solutions while delivering top-notch customer support. Key Responsibilities: - Source and validate raw data, perform data quality checks - Analyze broker recommendations, identify ratings and target prices - Update and process data in the database with time sensitivity - Maintain and enhance the existing database - Apply problem-solving skills to improve processes and software - Take ownership and proactively manage key responsibilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Prior experience or strong knowledge of financial markets - Practical experience in interpreting financial statements, understanding of finance and accounting - Critical thinking skills with examples of process improvement - Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects within tight deadlines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions If you are a detail-oriented individual who thrives on solving complex problems and building relationships while providing excellent customer service, this role might be a good fit for you.
