LaTeX Developer

Your roles and responsibilities Knowledge of layout specifications and ability to create new templates

Understanding of layout commands, pagination commands & control, penalties and packages

Ability to develop macros that improve template automation

Ability to come up with a basic level design from high-level design

Job requirements 2+ years of experience as a LaTeX Template developer with XMLFirst workflow

Good with DTD and PERL

Good at scripting / programming - Perl, Python, Ruby, Javascript, VBA scripts, batch scripts, Lua etc

Good with Future LaTeX about LaTeX3, LaTeX3-Macros, PDFLaTeX, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX, PassiveTeX, XMLTeX, ConTeXt, Babel package for languages

Good with Mark-up language like XML, SGML, HTML, HTML5, XSLT

You will be a good fit for the role if you have

• Experience being part of the Scrum team

• The ability to demonstrate functional and technical depth in the LaTeX pagination domain

• Excellent analytical and solutioning skills
