Senior Software Engineer - JavaScript (Fullstack)

As a Web Application Developer at our company, you will be responsible for building web-based applications that interact with databases, file systems, and APIs. Your role will involve developing web applications using Node.js and frameworks like ExpressJS or HAPI. You will write clean, readable code while maintaining high standards for quality. Collaboration within a multi-disciplinary Agile team to deliver solutions for web, mobile, and tablet platforms will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Implementing best practices for performance, security, maintainability, and extensibility will be crucial, as well as staying current with evolving client and server-side technologies and architectural goals. Key Responsibilities: - Develop web applications using Node.js and frameworks like ExpressJS or HAPI. - Write clean, readable code while maintaining high standards for quality. - Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary Agile team to deliver solutions for web, mobile, and tablet. - Implement best practices for performance, security, maintainability, and extensibility. - Stay current with evolving client and server-side technologies and architectural goals. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in web application development. - Proficiency in Functional and Object-Oriented JavaScript. - Working knowledge of at least one framework: React, NextJS, Angular, Backbone, or Ember. - Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as ExpressJS or HAPI. - Proficiency in HTML and CSS. - Experience with databases including MongoDB, Postgres, or DynamoDB. - Familiarity with Git version control. - Understanding of TypeScript or Flow. - Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
