Technical Lead - Quality Engineering

As a System Architect in Quality Engineering Practice, your role involves building and implementing technical solutions to overcome challenges faced during software development life cycle phases. You are expected to challenge the status quo, bring efficiencies to processes, and deliver innovative approaches to software test management. Your responsibilities include up-skilling team members, engaging stakeholders effectively, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will act as a Quality GateKeeper, guiding and suggesting best processes and tools to the development team. You will drive consistency and best practices by promoting cross-functional knowledge sharing among teams. Moreover, you will provide support on proposals, pre-sales activities, and proof of concepts related to Quality Engineering Practice. Key Responsibilities: - Build and implement technical solutions to Quality Engineering challenges - Challenge the status quo and bring efficiencies to processes and delivery approach - Up-skill team members and engage with stakeholders effectively - Act as a Quality GateKeeper and guide Dev counterparts on best processes/tools - Drive consistency and best practices through cross-functional knowledge sharing - Provide support on proposals, pre-sales, and proof of concepts related to Quality Engineering Practice Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech/MCA with 8+ years of experience in defining test strategy, test plans, and work estimation - Proficiency in all phases of the software development life cycle, especially within an agile development model and risk-based testing - Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript - Good knowledge of JavaScript-based testing packages like chai, mocha, etc. - Demonstrated experience in implementing automated testing solutions using tools like Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverio, etc. - Prior experience as a Team Lead with problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication, client interaction, and Stakeholder Management skills As a System Architect in Quality Engineering Practice, your role involves building and implementing technical solutions to overcome challenges faced during software development life cycle phases.
