About the role
As a Data Scientist with 67 years of experience, you will be joining the global R&D team with the following responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: You will be responsible for carrying out activities within your area of expertise using data and digital tools. Your role will involve contributing to R&D projects by implementing technical and cross-functional skills. You will perform statistical and data analyses to support lab teams, apply data science analyses on specific R&D project datasets, communicate results to multidisciplinary R&D project teams, and hold the role of data steward to help teams apply Data Governance practices. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to R&D projects with technical and cross-functional skills - Perform statistical and data analyses to support lab teams - Apply data science analyses on specific R&D project datasets - Communicate results to multidisciplinary R&D project teams - Hold the role of data steward to help apply Data Governance practices - Monitor and develop labs data management infrastructure - Propose new data tools - Actively contribute to the exchange of ideas Qualifications: - Chemistry knowledge - 8+ years of experience in Data science and engineering - English level 3 This job requires strong expertise in data analysis, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques, as well as hands-on experience with data visualization of complex data and digital tools. You should have the ability to work on end-to-end data pipelines, exploratory analysis, and model building, along with strong programming/scripting skills (Python/R or similar) and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. If you are autonomous, creative, open-minded, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work in a team and understand challenges in different application areas, this role is for you.
