Design Quality Checker Structural Engineer

Conduct thorough audits of design outputs to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality benchmarks. Review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility. Identify potential design flaws and quality issues, providing corrective action plans and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with design engineers to discuss findings and suggest viable solutions. Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings and present these to the reporting authority. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to structural design. Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance quality awareness within the design team. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly and effectively. Previous experience as a design engineer with a proven track record of quality assurance or quality control roles. Experience with design software (MIDAS, SOFISTIC) and tools relevant to structural engineering. Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent is preferred.
