About the role
We're hiring a Senior React Developer to build and scale a high-traffic, consumer-facing website used by millions of users daily. This role focuses on creating fast, reliable, and intuitive web experiences where performance, scale, and UX are non-negotiable. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain large-scale React-based web applications.Own end-to-end frontend delivery for core website journeys.Build reusable, scalable UI components and frontend systems.Optimise applications for performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.Lead code reviews and uphold frontend best practices.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.Work on real-time data, dashboards, and critical financial workflows. Requirements: 6+ years of frontend development experience.Strong expertise in React.js (hooks, context, state management).Excellent command over JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 CSS3Experience building high-traffic consumer websites.Strong understanding of performance optimisation techniques.Experience integrating with REST APIs.Familiarity with SEO-friendly architectures (Next.js preferred).Strong problem-solving skills with a product and UX mindset. Good-to-haves: Experience in broking/trading platforms.Experience with Next.js, Webpack, and Vite.Exposure to analytics, A/B testing, and growth experiments.Understanding of security and compliance considerations in financial products.Experience working in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
