About the role
As a Systems Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our in-house Position Logistic Management System (Polomas). Your role will involve application support, database management, ETL development, troubleshooting, and process automation. You will work closely with sourcing, trading, and risk management teams to ensure the seamless operation of the system. Key Responsibilities: - Support, maintain, and enhance the Polomas application. - Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, SSIS packages, VBA applications, and C# automation tools. - Troubleshoot application, database, and data integration issues. - Perform incident management and root cause analysis. - Support data quality, system integrations, and ETL processes. - Gather business requirements and deliver technical solutions. - Drive automation, performance improvements, and process optimization. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in T-SQL, SSIS, VBA, and C#. - Experience with application support and production issue resolution. - Good understanding of relational databases, ETL, and system integrations. - Exposure to SAP/ERP systems is preferred. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Additional Company Details (if provided in JD): This will be a technical role, but will require someone who is comfortable speaking business language and can understand business processes. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience in T-SQL, SSIS, and VBA, with experience in C# being a positive asset. Previous experience working in a support environment and remotely is also beneficial.
