Manager AVEVA E3D Administrator At Tractebel, we engineer solutions that shape the energy landscape of tomorrow. We are looking for an experienced E3D Administrator to join our Energy team in India and play a pivotal role in delivering complex engineering projects. This is your opportunity to lead technical excellence in 3D design administration. You will ensure our project teams have robust, well-configured digital environments to design the infrastructure our world needs. What You'll Do Configure and manage AVEVA E3D client-server environments, including project setup, user creation, access control, and approval workflows. Install and maintain SQL databases on servers and client machines, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Develop custom tools and automation using VB .Net, Visual Basic, and Excel Macros to enhance project efficiency. Set up and customize WBS rules, naming conventions, clash detection, and reporting frameworks across disciplines. Create and manage piping catalogues, pipe specifications (PMC), and piping specialities including vendor-specific supports. Customize piping isometric templates, General Arrangement drawings, labels, and 3D symbols to meet project requirements. Lead Global Work Share setup, version upgrades, batch server configurations, and backup scheduling for multi-project environments. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D administration. Strong programming skills in VB .Net, Visual Basic, and Excel Macros. Deep knowledge of SQL database management and E3D metadata structures. Familiarity with piping design standards, reference data troubleshooting, and catalogue creation. Leadership ability to guide a team of engineers across multiple concurrent projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal capabilities.
