About the role
Position: UI Developer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 4-6 years experience in translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application UI Developer is responsible for translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. S/he will work with the UI/UX team and be responsible for technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how the application looks as well as how it works. Required Skill Set: Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery Strong JavaScript framework experience - Angular (required), jQuery, Bootstrap, NodeJs Good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT, SVN Experience with client- or server-side MVC and MVVM patterns, AJAX, JSON, Restful services Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX Ability to design/develop the application for supporting mobile platforms Experience with JavaScript unit testing framework Jasmine, JSUnit etc. A background in graphic design with UI/UX skills is preferred Familiarity with task runner tools like gulp and grunt Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
