Manual QA Engineer

As a Manual Tester at TransportSimple, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding PRD's and acceptance criteria to design effective test cases. - Executing manual test cases for web and mobile applications. - Performing functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing. - Logging, tracking, and verifying bugs in the defect management system (JIRA). - Validating fixes and re-testing issues to ensure resolution. - Collaborating with developers and product managers to clarify requirements. - Preparing and maintaining test documentation including test cases, test reports, and checklists. - Identifying areas for improvement in processes and suggesting QA best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - 13 years of hands-on experience in manual testing. - Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC. - Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports. - Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). - Understanding of functional, regression, and usability testing. - Experience testing in SaaS-based products and ERP applications. - Good communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team. - Good knowledge of Agile Methodology.
