Software Development Engineer in Test

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for Testing and Automating of various features of Trellix's Security products like Email Security (EX), Malware Analysis (AX) etc. About the role: Analyzing the Requirements Participating in preparing Test Plans Preparing Test Datas and Test Environment to execute the test cases Executing the Test Cases and Raising defect giving mandatory information of the defect to developers Build effective and maintainable automation scripts Executing the automation regression release on release and raising defects if any Good understanding of Test process Status Reporting in timely manner and highlighting any risks/issues Work effectively with senior engineers within the Business Unit Build effective and maintainable automation scripts About you: Bachelors/Masters in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience in QA and automation(preferably Python) Good debugging and problem-solving skills Experience in working on Unix/Linux environment. Familiarity with Virtualized environments Passion for quality with customer focus Strong oral and written communication skills are a must Hands-on experience working on AWS is a plus
