Role Overview As a Frontend Support Engineer for OS and Workflow+, you will provide production support for two React-based SPAs: the (Workflow+ platform — work requests, collaboration, scheduling, reporting, feedback) and the (Workspace OS — workspaces, boards, tasks, vendor management, data rooms, AI-assisted DDQ workflows). You will triage UI/UX issues, debug state management problems, monitor frontend performance, and ensure a seamless user experience across both applications. Roles and Responsibilities Production support and incident management § Triage and resolve production UI issues across two React SPAs: (React 18, Vite 5, MUI + Ant Design + Tailwind 3) and (React 19, Vite 7, Tailwind 4, AG Grid, shared-ui-library) § Debug state management issues in Redux Toolkit stores with redux-persist, RTK Query API slices, and TanStack React Query caches § Investigate routing failures in react-router-dom (v6 and v7), including lazy-loaded route components and role-based route guards § Troubleshoot real-time communication issues — STOMP/SockJS WebSocket (glass/frontend) and Socket.IO (workspace-os-frontend) § Debug API integration issues with Axios and RTK Query; coordinate with backend teams on contract mismatches Monitoring, ing, and observability § Set up and maintain Grafana dashboards for frontend health metrics — build sizes (size-limit), Lighthouse CI scores, error rates from analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Heap, Microsoft Clarity) § Configure s for frontend error spikes, API latency degradation, and WebSocket disconnection rates § Analyze browser console errors, network waterfall issues, and render performance bottlenecks § Monitor bundle size regressions using size-limit and rollup-plugin-visualizer Build, CI/CD, and deployment § Support GitHub Actions CI pipelines: build checks, ESLint, Prettier, Playwright E2E tests, and Lighthouse CI performance budgets § Debug build failures in Vite/TypeScript/Tailwind toolchains; investigate dependency conflicts (npm, legacy peer deps) § Support Docker Compose deployments and Kubernetes manifests across dev, QA, UAT, and production § Manage private npm registry dependencies (@tresvista-analytics/shared-ui-library via GitHub Packages, Font Awesome Pro)
Testing and quality § Maintain and extend E2E test suites with Playwright; investigate flaky tests and test environment issues § Support unit/integration testing with Vitest, Testing Library, and MSW (Mock Service Worker) § Validate cross-browser compatibility and responsive layout issues Prerequisites § 1–3 years in frontend support or development; strong React and TypeScript fundamentals § Hands-on experience with Redux Toolkit (or similar state management) and REST API integration (Axios/Fetch) § Familiarity with Vite, Tailwind CSS, and at least one component library (MUI, Ant Design, or similar) § Proficiency with browser DevTools for debugging (network, console, performance, memory) § Experience with Grafana dashboards and configuration for frontend observability § Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and npm/Node.js tooling § Understanding of AWS basics (S3 for static hosting, CloudFront, ECS/EKS for containerized deployments) Good to Have § Experience with AG Grid, TanStack React Query/Table, or react-hook-form § Familiarity with WebSocket/real-time protocols (Socket.IO, STOMP) § Exposure of Playwright or Cypress for E2E testing § Knowledge of semantic-release and conventional commit workflows § Experience with Lighthouse CI and web performance optimization Experience 1–3 years in frontend support or development; strong React and TypeScript fundamentals Education Bachelor's in engineering or related (or equivalent experience from a strong technical background) .
