Job Description IT Operations / Monitoring Enginee r Position: IT Operations / Monitoring Engineer Experience: 2 to 5 years Location: Bangalore Work Mode: Hybrid Shift: Rotational (24x7 support coverage) Role Overview We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Operations / Monitoring Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring business-critical applications, identifying and resolving incidents, and ensuring service availability through effective use of monitoring tools and ITSM processes. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility to work in rotational shifts, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to the payment domain will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain availability of applications and infrastructure using Splunk and Dynatrace. Perform proactive issue detection, log analysis, and alert management to minimize downtime. Adhere to ITSM processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Participate in bridge calls and coordinate with technical teams during critical incidents. Ensure timely and accurate shift handover updates to maintain seamless operations. Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives within IT operations. Required Skills & Competencies Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (24x7 environment). Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact across teams. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools preferably Splunk and Dynatrace. Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks and processes. Good to have Skills Exposure to the Payment domain (transaction flows, settlements, and reconciliations). ITIL Foundation certification. Basic knowledge of scripting or automation in monitoring environments. Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline 2-5 years of experience in IT Operations, Application Monitoring, or Production Support.
