Role Description The OpenStack Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure in a hybrid work arrangement located in Chandigarh, with some work-from-home flexibility. Client is Dubai based and there could possibly be travel opportunities in the future This full-time role involves configuring and optimizing compute, storage, and networking services; managing upgrades and patches; and ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. The engineer will monitor environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate routine tasks using scripts and tools. Collaboration with development, DevOps, and security teams to support application workloads, implement best practices, and document architecture and operational procedures is a core part of the day-to-day work. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, capacity planning, and evaluating current OpenStack features and related cloud technologies. Qualifications Solid foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
