About the role
- Extensive experience in QA Engineering, Automation and Test Strategy. - Strong experience in Web, API, Mobile App and Integration Testing. - Expertise in Typescript/JavaScript, Selenium, WebdriverIO and automation frameworks, cloud platform devices (Perfecto) - Experience maintaining and evolving automation frameworks. - Strong understanding of Agile, BDD/TDD and DevOps practices. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git and cloud platforms. - Knowledge of AI-assisted testing, GenAI and modern automation practices. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching experience. - Experience managing release processes and quality governance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. OR 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering, with strong hands-on experience in Web, API, and Mobile testing. Robust knowledge of Agile methodologies, Quality Engineering practices, test design Techniques, and software testing principles. Experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions using TypeScript/JavaScript. Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, or equivalent technologies. Strong experience in API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Axios, or similar frameworks. Proven experience architecting, developing, and enhancing scalable test automation frameworks. Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code, and reusablearchitecture. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS,Azure, or GCP. Experience working with source control systems including Git and modern collaborative development workflows. Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, test management, and defect management tools. Experience with performance, accessibility, and non-functional testing practices. Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and production support tooling. Experience with AI-powered Quality Engineering solutions, Agentic AI, AI Agents,Generative AI, LLMs, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or similar technologies. Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and implement solutions that improve engineering productivity and software quality. Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills. Experience coaching and supporting teams in the adoption of automation frameworks, engineering best practices, and modern testing approaches. Experience working in cross-functional Agile squads and contributing to both day-to-day delivery and strategic quality initiatives.
