SAP BTP / Fiori Developer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP BTP Developer to design, develop, and integrate advanced business solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in RAP (RESTful Application Programming), CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model), Business Application Studio (BAS), and knowledge of services like Business Process Automation (BPA). A key focus of this role will be developing and integrating FIORI applications and collaborating closely with IT functional consultants to deliver scalable, innovative, and secure enterprise solutions that drive technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Fiori List Report and Object Page Header applications using Fiori Elements and SAPUI5. Implement and manage Object Page Layouts, Header Facets, Action Buttons, and Navigation logic within the Object Page framework. Develop OData services using CDS Views, Custom Entities, ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model). Build and integrate Fiori applications with CAP-based services deployed on SAP BTP. Configure and utilize Fiori App Scanning tools for evaluating app performance, accessibility, and security. Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across multiple device types. Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, UX designers, CAP service developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancements on existing Fiori and CAP-based applications. Ensure complete transparency and share knowledge with internal team members to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 8 years of IT development experience, with substantial exposure to the SAP ecosystem and custom development. At least 4 years of hands-on experience developing with SAP RAP and CAPM on the SAP BTP. Expertise in building Fiori List Report and Object Page applications, including Object Header customization and dynamic behavior. Strong experience in integrating Fiori applications with SAP CAP services (Node.js/Java). Expertise in handling scanning features on Fiori apps. Strong front-end skills: SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. Deep knowledge of Fiori Elements, annotations, and metadata-driven UI development. Hands-on experience with: CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption) Custom Entities ABAP RAP (Unmanaged & Managed Scenarios) SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) including service definition, data modeling, and service exposure Experience working with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), including deployment and service integration. Proficient in implementing application extensibility at all layers using SAP best practices (Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility). Knowledge of OData V2/V4 protocols and integration in Fiori and CAP-based applications. Understanding of event-driven architecture and RESTful service design in CAP. Ability to work independently on complex development tasks and lead technical discussions
