About the role
As a Network Administrator II at Trimble, you will be a part of the global corporate networking team and be responsible for the independent operations of the companys internal worldwide communications systems, which include LANs, WANs, and voice networks. Your role will involve installing and configuring equipment, resolving user problems, troubleshooting wireless issues, and maintaining network connections. You will also be involved in systems monitoring, configuring routers, switches, wireless access points, and other devices as needed. Key Responsibilities: - First level escalation for operational support in five key technology concentrations - Monitor and maintain Routers, Switches, Firewalls, WiFi, and Cloud Services for the Trimble Global Network - Perform troubleshooting of network issues - Respond to incidents and outages for critical infrastructure - Monitor and correct compliance issues - Perform firmware and OS upgrades on various network devices - Review circuits and device capacities for capacity planning - Assist in maintaining the global network monitoring systems - Mentor junior team members Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience with a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Networking, or a related field - Good written and verbal communication skills in English - Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively - Knowledge of network systems operations, implementation, and maintenance - Cisco CCNA - Routing and Switching or CCNA - Security certification preferred - Basics knowledge of Routing, Switching, NG Firewalls, WiFi, and Cloud technologies - Intermediate knowledge in at least two of the five listed technologies Additional Details about Trimble: Trimble is a company that is transforming the way the world works by delivering products and services that connect the physical and digital worlds.
