Job Title: Oracle Data Conversion Specialist Location: Remote Employment Type: Permanent Experience Required: 6+ years of Cloud Experience Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Conversion Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration and conversion within Oracle Cloud environments. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transfer and transformation of data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud applications. Key Responsibilities: Lead data conversion projects, including planning, execution, and post-conversion validation. Develop and implement data migration strategies and methodologies to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and mapping specifications. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to prepare data for migration. Utilize Oracle Cloud tools and technologies to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues during the conversion process. Document data conversion processes, mapping documents, and technical specifications. Conduct testing and validation of converted data to ensure compliance with business requirements. Provide training and support to end-users on data-related processes and tools. Stay updated on Oracle Cloud developments and best practices in data management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in data conversion, data migration, or data management, specifically within Oracle Cloud environments. Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud applications and data structures. Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment. Experience with data governance and data quality best practices is a plus.
