About the role
As a Business Intelligence Developer at TriNet, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering high-quality BI solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing dashboards, reports, and semantic models using standard BI tools such as Power BI. - Translating business and technical requirements into intuitive, performant, and scalable BI solutions. - Ensuring accuracy and consistency of data, KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic across deliverables. Additionally, you will be involved in: - Assisting in data analysis to model ideal customer profiles, identify key trends, patterns, and insights across business domains. - Creating compelling visualizations from data findings to aid understanding of complex datasets. - Supporting business insights through descriptive and diagnostic reporting with appropriate visualizations. You will also be responsible for: - Building and maintaining intermediate-level data models. - Performing data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, including: - Working closely with senior BI developers, data engineers, and analytics leads to understand solution design and contribute to design discussions. - Developing an understanding of business functions, processes, and key drivers to ensure that dashboards and reports reflect the correct business narrative and context. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field. - Up to 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data reporting roles. - Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar. - Strong SQL and intermediate data modeling skills. - Ability to connect technical outputs with business context. - Effective communication skills, especially in structured environments. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts. - High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
