As a Software Development Engineer (SDE 1 & SDE 2) specializing in Backend (Java), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side architecture and backend logic for web/mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with frontend engineers, optimizing backend performance, working with databases, and staying updated with the latest backend development trends. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture and backend logic for web/mobile applications. - Develop RESTful APIs and services to support multiple products and services. - Collaborate with frontend engineers for seamless integration. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. - Optimize backend performance for high availability and scalability. - Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity, security, and performance. - Debug and troubleshoot issues for minimal downtime and rapid resolution. - Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and team processes. - Stay updated with new backend development trends and technologies for continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2-6 years of backend development experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. - Strong proficiency in backend programming languages like Java, Go, or Ruby. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Solid understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools is a plus. - Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
