Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumbing Design Engineer role based in Indore. The Plumbing Design Engineer will be responsible for designing plumbing and water supply systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including preparation of layouts, sizing calculations, and detailed drawings. The role involves coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and other building services teams to ensure integrated MEP designs that comply with local codes and standards. Daily tasks include reviewing project requirements, preparing technical documents, supporting cost estimates, and responding to design-related queries during construction. The engineer will also participate in site visits, inspections, and design reviews to verify installation quality and resolve technical issues. Qualifications Strong skills in Plumbing and Plumbing Design for residential, commercial, and industrial building projects. Experience with Water Supply system design, including piping layouts, sizing, and equipment selection. Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and integrated Building Services design. Familiarity with relevant plumbing and building codes, standards, and best practices. Proficiency in CAD or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for preparing and updating design drawings. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Prior experience in consulting or design firms and exposure to Indian building projects is an advantage.
